Privacy Policy

Finora ("the app", "we") is a calculator and money notebook that works on your device. This policy explains what the app does, and does not do, with information. In short: Finora does not collect your personal information.
1. Information we collect
None. The app has no account or sign-in, no servers of ours, and it does not request the internet permission. It does not ask for or send your financial details, name, phone number, email address, contacts or location anywhere. The only image the app ever reads is the optional logo you choose yourself (see section 2).
2. Information stored on your device
The following is saved only in private app storage on your own phone, and is never transmitted:
- Calculations you choose to save, and your history.
- Cashbook entries, udhar (lent / borrowed) records and loan tracker records you create.
- Savings goals you create.
- Your settings: chosen language, currency, favourites, recently used calculators and the optional name shown on the home screen.
- PDF report branding (optional): if you upload a logo, you choose one image in your phone's photo picker. The app can read only that image, not your other photos. It is shrunk and kept in private app storage, together with the business name you type, and is printed on the PDF reports you share. It is never uploaded, and you can remove it any time in Settings → PDF report branding. Before the picker first opens, the app explains this and asks you to agree.
3. Advertising, analytics and tracking
Finora contains no ads, no analytics libraries, no crash-reporting services and no tracking technologies. We do not build profiles and we do not sell or share data, because we do not have any.
4. Notifications
When the app first opens it asks for permission to show notifications. If you allow them, the app shows short money tips through the day (20 a day, from a built-in list of 20 tips, about every 45 minutes from 8am) and reminds you of due dates and loan EMI days that you entered. Both are created on your device from the app's own list and your own records. They contain no advertising, and nothing is sent from your device. You can turn notifications off at any time in Settings → Notifications or in your phone's system settings.
5. Backups and exports
You can export a backup file, a CSV of your history, an invoice PDF, or a PDF report of any result (with your logo and name if you set them). These files are saved where you choose. Backups are not encrypted, so keep them somewhere safe. Finora never uploads them. Automatic cloud backup of app data is turned off.
6. Permissions
- Notifications (optional): to show the daily tip and the due-date reminders described above.
- Standard system permissions used by Android for scheduling reminders (such as running after a restart) are included by the background-work library. They are not used to collect or send data.
- Choosing a logo uses Android's system photo picker, which gives the app only the single image you select. The app does not need photo, media or storage permission for this.
- The app does not request internet, location, camera, microphone, contacts or storage access.
7. Deleting your data
Open Settings → Erase all data to remove every saved record from your device. Uninstalling the app also removes everything. Because we hold no copy, there is nothing for us to delete on our side.
8. Children
The app does not collect personal information from anyone, including children. It is a general-purpose calculator and does not contain user-generated public content.
9. Not financial advice
Calculators give estimates from the numbers you enter and the assumptions shown on each screen. They are not financial, tax or legal advice. See our Terms & Conditions.
10. Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the new version will be published on this page and the date above will be updated. Material changes will also ship with an app update.
